1.1. Setting up Your Office
The first time you log into the DeWocracy web app, you'll land on the Settings page. That's because we need a few details for the tool to start operating. The data we ask helps us calculate the analytics that you'll see on the dashboard and will help you manage remote work and office occupancy efficiently. When editing the Office settings, you will need to click on "Save Office" for the changes to be applied.
❗ IMPORTANT: You need to fill in all the office input fields to be able to save the changes.
- Monthly rent: how much you pay monthly for your office space. If you are onboarding only a fraction of your workforce, we recommend dividing the total monthly rent figure by the percentage of the workforce you are onboarding. This will result in more accurate cost and occupancy rate metrics. For example, if you have a 10,000 € monthly rent and you are onboarding 25 of 100 total employees, you can set the monthly rent to 10,000 € x 25% = 2,500 €.
- Monthly cost of bills: how much you pay monthly for utilities and office maintenance (electricity, water, gas, cleaning services, etc.). If your bills are included in your monthly rent, you can set it to the minimum value of 1.
- Total area: total space you have available in your office, in squared meters.
